The roses gave off a warm essence that drew me in closer. A cool breeze blew carrying their sweet scent to me. I closed my eyes and inhaled deeply. It was tempting, I wanted to go, to touch the roses, pick them up and smell them. The thought of the brittle petals against my face made me desperate. I opened my eyes, only to realize that I was moving towards the bushes. I looked back and forth, and I saw no one and continued forward.
